1. Nature of the content
RCIC Hub organizes responses issued by IRCC through its Immigration Representatives Mailbox, obtained through Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) requests. These responses are provided by IRCC as general guidance. They are not case-specific determinations, they reflect IRCC's position at a particular point in time, and they may be incomplete, superseded by later policy or legislative changes, or inapplicable to any specific set of facts.
2. AI-generated analysis
Summaries, key points, commentary, and takeaways labelled "AI-GENERATED" (or "AI Analysis") are produced using automated tools. They may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. They are provided to assist your research only and must be independently verified against the original source document and current authorities before being relied upon.
3. Source scans and OCR
Original ATIP source pages are shown as scanned images and may be of limited resolution, partially redacted by IRCC, or difficult to read. Any text extraction used for search may be imperfect. The original released document governs over any derived text or summary.
4. Professional responsibility
The Service is intended for use by regulated immigration practitioners who remain solely responsible for the advice they give to their own clients. You must exercise your own professional judgment, verify information against the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, its Regulations, current IRCC operational instructions and program delivery guidance, and other authoritative sources, and comply with your professional and regulatory obligations.
5. No affiliation with IRCC or the Government of Canada
RCIC Hub and Pacific Ways Immigration Consultancy Inc. are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of IRCC or the Government of Canada. References to IRCC are for identification and research purposes only.
6. No professional relationship
Use of the Service does not create a consultant–client, solicitor–client, or any other professional relationship between you and us.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the content of the Service. See our Terms of Service for the full limitation of liability.
